Binance Received 82,000 Web3 Course Requests in Six Months

During 2022, Binance has donated the equivalent of more than $3.5 million for projects in 15 countries, such as Brazil, France, Senegal, Nigeria, Australia, Germany, Cyprus, Ukraine and South Africa, offering students the opportunity to increase their knowledge of Web3 for free. These donations have funded more than 293,000 hours of face-to-face training, bootcamp education, and community workshops.

In addition, Binance announced its global alliance with Women in Tech to offer blockchain courses to 2,800 women from vulnerable communities in Brazil and Africa.

In this initiative, Binance Charity will donate $250,000 to carry out a six-month pilot project, with the aim of providing women with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive on the Web3. The first courses will take place in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Cape Town (South Africa).

In its 2022 annual report, Binance reveals the growth of interest in cryptocurrencies: last year alone, 26 million people accessed at least one piece of Binance Academy content.

In addition, Binance Charity together with Binance Academy and several of the world’s leading academic and professional training institutions, has been developing projects to deliver education in universities and government-sponsored programs, such as the University of Western Australia, the University of Nicosia, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management – Blockchain Center, Simplon, Utiva and Women in Tech, Kyiv IT Cluster and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. This year, it is expected that these initiatives will also continue to expand throughout Latin America.
