He Ministry of Economy declared a state of emergency and/or agricultural disaster in the province of Buenos Aires, as a consequence of the drought.

According to the provisions of Resolution 317/2023, published this Monday in the Official Gazette, the measure is in force between June 1 and December 31, 2022 in Florentino Ameghino’s party.

Then, from November 1, 2022 and until March 31, 2023 in the districts of General Lamadrid, Carlos Tejedor and Pergamino, from December 1, 2022 and until March 31, 2023 in the districts of Cañuelas, Campana, Las Flores and General Rodríguez.

Likewise, Economy provided that for the purposes of the application of Law No. 26,509, the state of emergency and/or agricultural disaster, as appropriate, is declared and/or extended, in the province of Buenos Aires. affected by drought, from January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023 in the districts of San Pedro, Rojas, Salto, Ramallo, Junín, Arrecifes, Alberti, Chascomús, Suipacha, Dolores, Lobos, San Vicente, Magdalena, Luján, General Paz, Ayacucho, Bragado, Monte, Maipú, Lincoln, Baradero, Punta Indio, Chivilcoy, General Arenales, Roque Pérez, San Nicolás, San Andrés de Giles, Mercedes, Brandsen, Rauch, Exaltation of the Cross, Carmen from Areco, General Viamonte, Captain Sarmiento, General Guido, Chacabuco, Navarro, Colón, Tordillo and Tandil.

The Palacio de Hacienda explained that March 31, 2023 is the end date of the production cycle for the affected farms in the areas declared in the Resolution.

At the same time, he recalled that in order to qualify for the benefits provided by this Law, the affected producers must submit a certificate issued by the competent authority of the province, stating that their properties or farms are included in the cases planned.

For their part, the national banking institutions, mixed officials and the AFIP will arbitrate the necessary means so that agricultural producers enjoy the benefits provided for in the Law.
