New applications for the country’s largest business prize, the Pegasus, arrive every day. The Pegasus will be awarded for the 30th time this year by the OÖ Nachrichten and its partners – Raiffeisenlandesbank, state, Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Industry and KPMG – and will bring the entrepreneurial highlights of Upper Austria to the front of the curtain.
Applications for the award are possible until April 7 at nachrichten.at/pegasus2023 in the categories flagships, innovation champions, success stories, hopes for the future and in the special category Entrepreneur/Manager of the Year.

In the “Innovation Emperor” category Christian Rohrhofer advertised with his company Roc-Sports. Roc-Sports is based in Steyr and has set itself the goal of producing sports nutrition products with ingredients from controlled organic cultivation. Rohrhofer obtains the raw materials from regional suppliers.
In the “success stories” the Reichenau trading company Watzinger (Managing Director David Watzinger) Applied. The family business has been selling vehicles far beyond national borders for more than 67 years. According to their own statements, they are one of the largest quad dealers in German-speaking countries.

The company FlowFactor from Linz has applied in the category “Hope for the future”. Benjamin Lamplmair and his team want to help students identify their own talents and strengths with an application and make the transition from school to the world of work easier for them. This should also help companies in times of a shortage of skilled workers to find suitable young people for the company.
