The previous CEO Thomas Arnoldner moves into the second row and becomes deputy chairman of the board, as Telekom Austria announced on Thursday evening. Plater had been CEO until 2018 before he was replaced by Arnoldner.
As announced, Chief Financial Officer Siegfried Mayrhofer will say goodbye at the end of August. As of the beginning of September, the Management Board of the Telekom Austria Group will consist of only two members: Alejandro Plater and Thomas Arnoldner. The management contracts of Arnoldner and Plater will each be extended by three years as of September 1, with the option of a further extension by two years, according to the press release.
