For Head of HR Katrin Bointner, part-time leadership is part-time practice. The mother of two shares management work with her deputy Anna Strutzenberger. “This requires a top organization, a lot has to be communicated. The success factor is that the decisions made by the person who was asked apply. And the management must be able to rely on us being informed about all the essentials at all times are,” she reports at the well-attended HR lounge.

Founder and President Josef Buttinger invited to the meeting of Upper Austrian HR managers. There will also soon be shared management with job sharing in a second department at the large baker. In the discussion, the personnel managers judged this model to be forward-looking. Not only young mothers who want to keep their management role, but also men would increasingly ask whether it would not be possible to split the department management.
