According to the report published by the Integrated Public Employment Base (BIEP) under the Ministry of Public Employment, the Judicial Council has more than 20,000 employees and is among the departments that receive the best salaries.

Early this Sunday, a series of lists began to circulate on the networks detailing the wages in various agencies and institutions of the public sector. The attention, without a doubt, was in the data of the number of employees and salaries that are paid in the Council of the Magistracy.

In the midst of high inflation and joint discussions, a list came to light that refers to the average salaries and the number of registered employees that some 120 areas of the national State have. Among them are the Supreme Court, the AFIP, the ANSES, the Judicial Council and other state agencies.

According to the information that began to circulate, based on the survey carried out from the Integrated Public Employment Base (BIEP)the average salaries of 142 public estatesmeasuring two variables: on the one hand, the average gross salary in each place: and on the other, the number of registered employees.

This information spread on the networks and various media the day after learning of the new measures adopted by the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, to straighten the economic course, after the inflation data for April 8.4%, provided by INDEC.

This body in charge of choosing national judges is only surpassed in number of employees by state institutions or departments that have a more effective and broader national territorial coverage, such as AFIP (20,529 employees); Prefecture (21,804); Argentine Trains (24,060); Navy (26,315); Argentine Federal Police (32,286) and Gendarmerie, who leads the list with the most agents to their credit, with 38,564 workers.
