The Government formalized the reinforcement for the retirement and minimum pensions which had been announced by Sergio Massa and Fernanda Raverta, the executive director of ANSES, on May 10. This increase is added to the 21% that corresponds to the Mobility Law and the Christmas bonus.
As detailed in Decree 282/2023 in the Official Gazette, a reinforcement of the pension income will be granted for a maximum amount of $15,000, $17,000 and $20,000 to be paid in June, July and August 2023.
In addition, in the month of June the half bonus will be paid, so a retiree of the minimum will receive $121,407. In addition, those who receive a retirement or pension of up to two minimum assets will also receive a proportional reinforcement of up to 5,000 pesos. Thus, a person with an income of up to two minimum retirements, starting in June he will receive $146,876 plus the Christmas bonus.
ANSES reinforcement: who will be able to access
1. The holders of the contributory pension benefits in charge of the ANSES
b. The beneficiaries of the Universal Pension for the Elderly, established by article 13 of Law No. 27,260 and its amendments;
c. The beneficiaries of non-contributory pensions for old age, disability, mothers of SEVEN (7) sons or daughters or more and other non-contributory pensions and ex-gratia pensions whose payment is in charge of the ANSES.
ANSES reinforcement: how the $15,000 will be collected in June
- The rise of $15,000 in June it will be charged by those holders who, for the sum of the assets of all their current benefits, receive an amount less than or equal to $70,938.24.
- The reinforcement will be $5,000 for those holders who, for the sum of all their current benefits, receive a amount greater than $80,938.24 and less than or equal to $141,876.48.
The document establishes that, by JUNE 2023, those holders who, for the sum of all their current benefits, receive an amount greater than $70,938.24 and less than or equal to $80,938.24, the amount of the reinforcement of the pension income will be equivalent to the amount necessary to reach $85,938.24. The same happens for those who collect an amount greater than $141,876.48 up to $146,876.48.
ANSES reinforcement: how the $17,000 will be collected in July
- It will be $17,000 for holders who, in the sum of the assets of all their current benefits, receive an amount less than or equal to $70,938.24.
- From $5,000 For holders who for all their current benefits receive an amount greater than $82,938.24 and less than or equal to $141,876.48.
- For all holders who, with the sum of their benefits, receive an amount greater than $70,938.24 and less than or equal to $82,938.24, the amount of the pension income will be equivalent to the amount necessary to reach $87,938.24.
- For holders who receive an amount greater than $141,876.48 and up to $146,876.48, the amount of the pension income will be equivalent to the amount necessary until reaching the amount mentioned in the second term.
ANSES reinforcement: how the $20,000 will be collected in August
- $20,000 for those who collect $70,938.24
- $5,000 for those who receive an amount greater than $85,938.24 and less than or equal to $141,876.48.
- For those who receive an amount greater than $70,838.24 and less than or equal to $85,938.24, the reinforcement amount will be equivalent to the amount necessary to reach $90,838.24.
- For those who receive an income greater than $141,876.48 and up to $146,876.48, the amount of the reinforcement will be equivalent to the amount necessary to reach the amount mentioned in the second term.
ANSES: three facts to keep in mind
– To receive the pension income reinforcement, the benefits must be in force in the same month in which their settlement is made.
– In the case of pension benefits, regardless of the number of co-participants, they must be considered as a single holder for the purposes of the right to the reinforcement of pension income granted by this decree.
– The reinforcement of pension income that is granted by this decree will not be subject to any discount or computable for any other concept.
