The Government made official this Monday the increase in retirements effective as of the month of September, after granting an extra bonus within the battery of measures announced to alleviate inflation.

The Government made official this Monday the increase in retirements in force as of the month of September, after granting an extra bonus within the battery of measurements announced to alleviate inflation.

In this sense, through the Official Gazette through Resolution 189/2023, it indicated that the minimum amount will be $87,459.76. Meanwhile, the current maximum credit will be $588,521.35.

Therefore, by increasing the minimum salary plus the $37,000 monthly bonus (until September), the minimum retirement in September will become $124,000, adding the credit and the reinforcement. With these increases, the minimum pension will reach a 147% annual increase.

In turn, it establishes that the minimum and maximum tax bases are established in the amount of $29,456.43 and $957,320.12 respectively, as of the accrual period of September 2023.

Universal Basic Benefit (PBU) in September

According to article 19 of Law No. 24,241, applicable as of September, it is established at $40,008.85.

Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) in September

The amount of the PUAM provided for in article 13 of Law No. 27,260, applicable to September is $69,967.81.

The increase in minimum retirement is based on the calculation established by the Retirement Mobility Lawwhich updates the amounts based on a coefficient prepared in equal parts by pension collection and the Average Taxable Remuneration of Stable Workers (RIPTE).
