The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) revealed the updating of the amounts for which banking institutions must give notice of the movements made with the Debit.

Debit card: AFIP limit amount

Through General Resolution 5348/2023, the AFIP determined that the limit amount in which they will begin to investigate the consumption of the cards is $120,0004 times more than before.

Digital wallets: when does AFIP start investigating you?

users of virtual wallets will be investigated by Applicationsand notified with the AFIP, if equal or exceed the new regulations:

  • If total income or expenses had been recorded in the period, equal to or greater than $120,000.
  • Balances as of the last business day of the reported monthly period are equal to or greater than $200,000 in the month (positive and negative amounts).
  • When the type of operation, whether it is cash in or out, bank transfer, in foreign currency, digital currency, is a bank and/or virtual transfer, to a amount equal to or greater than $400,000.
