through the Joint Provision 1/2023 of the Ministry of Economy, a measure of financial assistance to the owners of establishments who were victims of damage and/or theft suffered in the context of events of public knowledge that occurred between the days August 19 and 25, 2023.
The assistance will consist of the granting of Non-reimbursable Contributions (ANRs), for up to the sum of $7,000,000 (seven million) per applicant, which will be destined the recomposition of the operational capacity of the applicants.
The establishments that are adhered to the Program “Fair prices” and have a payroll greater than FIFTY (50) employees will not be able to access the Non-refundable Contribution (ANR) defined in the provision if they register breaches in the aforementioned Program.
Requirements to access the Program
To access the Non-Reimbursable Contribution (ANR), establishments must certify before the Executive Committee of the “National Productive Development Fund” (FONDEP), by submitting the following documentation to the Distance Procedures Platform (TAD):
- Police report.
- Accounting certification of the accident record.
- Certified CBU certificate belonging to the business that suffered the accident.
- Additional probative documentation that is pertinent (police summary, photos, videos, provincial and/or municipal certification, documentation that proves the ownership of the establishment, among others).
- Application form.
- Claim Information Form.
The lack of presentation of the previously mentioned mandatory documentation, as well as the verification of the assumption established in Article 2 of this measure, will give rise to the rejection of applications without further processing.
The Application Authority of the “National Fund for Productive Development” (FONDEP) will assess the relevance of granting or denying the benefit, as well as as its amount based on the time frame of the denounced facts and the information that arises from the accounting certification presented, among other aspects that are timely available.
Measurement Details
The measure aims to support the recomposition of working capital and the capital goods affectednecessary for the normal development of the activities of the establishments that were victims of the events of public knowledge that occurred between August 19 and 25, 2023.
The assistance will consist of the granting of Non-reimbursable Contributions (ANRs), for up to the sum of PESOS SEVEN MILLION ($7,000,000) per applicant. The amount of the ANR will be determined by the Executive Committee of the “National Fund for Productive Development” (FONDEP) based on the needs of each case.
To access the Non-Reimbursable Contribution (ANR), establishments must prove to the Executive Committee of the “National Fund for Productive Development” (FONDEP) the documentation indicated in article 4 of the resolution.
The Enforcement Authority of the “National Fund for Productive Development” (FONDEP) will assess the relevance of granting or denying the benefit, as well as its amount based on the time frame of the reported facts and the information arising from the accounting certification submitted, among Other aspects that are opportunely available.
