What salary is paid in which jobs? An evaluation by the Hans Böckler Foundation shows salary data for more than 100 professions – and differences between men and women, west and east.
On average, a full-time employee in Germany earns 4105 euros gross per month. The Federal Statistical Office has officially determined this sum for April 2022. However, the statisticians also say that two-thirds of the employees earn less than this amount. And in individual cases everything is different anyway. Because the individual salary can depend on many factors: industry and educational qualifications, professional experience and company size, collective bargaining agreement or negotiating skills. Very different salaries can be paid even for one and the same job.
