Two other people were injured on Thursday night in the accident in the northern Italian municipality of Brandizzo, which belongs to the Turin metropolitan area. According to the reports, the victims are employees of a company that carried out maintenance work on the route.
The victims were recorded when a locomotive transported several empty wagons from Alessandria towards Turin. The accident happened just before midnight. According to initial investigations, the train was traveling at around 160 kilometers per hour. It is now necessary to investigate how the accident happened.
