The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) notified 43 companies that are members of multinational groups that registered inconsistencies in their sworn statements for more than $600 million. After the inspection and control tasks carried out by the specialized areas of the organization, 72% of the taxpayers summoned regularized their situation and rectified their sworn statements.
These are subjects who had omitted to include, in their determination of Income Tax, transfer pricing adjustments.
“As a result of these actions, the organization led by Carlos Castagneto determined adjustments of 600 million pesos,” an official statement highlighted. Based on the inconsistencies detected, and the compliance made, the AFIP will initiate inspection procedures for those who did not comply with the requirement made, it was specified.
