A total of 20,000 to 25,000 positions are expected. The awards will be made from September 21st and the major project should be completed by the end of October 2023.
The auctions cover a huge range of exhibits – from classic furniture store items such as lamps, sofas or wall units to the entire branch equipment, i.e. all shelving systems, product platforms and decorative objects through to lifting and transport trolleys, office furniture and advertising boards. If you want to get hold of an advertising sign in the typical Leiner green or a cash register in Kika red as a souvenir, you will find it here. Added to this is the equipment of the furniture store restaurants, from the counter to the professional oven. All exhibits start at a starting price of 1 euro. The auctions are carried out by the Aurena auction house.

Auctions in eight federal states
In total, the following locations will go under the hammer: the Leiner locations in Judenburg, Wels, Linz, Steyr, Amstetten, Vöcklabruck, Villach and Vienna-Nord as well as the Kika locations in Lienz, Mistelbach, Liezen, Ried im Innkreis, Feldbach, Leoben, Saalfelden, Horn, Unterwart, St. Johann/Pongau, Wörgl, Stockerau, Imst, Eisenstadt and Vienna-Ottakring.
