Provincia Compras, the online sales portal of the Buenos Aires public bank that allows you to purchase technology products, appliances, clothing, footwear and toys, among other items, registered a flood of operations from customers in just over seven months of operation and the clients of the entity. The platform, which offers different financing options that include up to 24 interest-free installments, has registered 1,106,000 sales for more than 131 billion pesos since its launch, with an average ticket of more than 130 thousand pesos.
On average, the market place that Banco Provincia launched on March 15 made 158 thousand sales per month, at a rate of 5,096 per day. In addition, 74% of purchases were financed in 24 interest-free installments and more than 61 thousand people requested their credit card from the entity. The main product categories marketed through the Buenos Aires virtual store are technology and home appliances. From November 6 to 8, the store will participate in the Cyber Monday initiative, organized by the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Commerce.
