As on the previous day, things looked better in the second German stock market league: the MDax rose by 0.40 percent to 25,208.45 points in the middle of the week. This brought it closer to its interim high from the previous week. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50, on the other hand, was slightly in the red. There was little movement on the US stock exchanges.
Stock market investors are again increasingly doubting that the US Federal Reserve’s cycle of interest rate hikes has already been completed.
