This is the first increase enabled for biofuelsafter the crisis that occurred in October and early November due to the general shortage of fuel throughout the country.
According to resolution 922/2023 published this Tuesday in the Official bulletin, The acquisition price of bioethanol made from sugar cane was set at $310 per liter.
This implies an increase30% compared to $237.62that had been established from August 28 to the present.
It is worth remembering that, recently, the Government promised to implement a wider cut for bioethanolbut the details would be known after the runoff.
Meanwhile, for the bioethanol extracted from corn, Energía placed the new value at $303 per liter, 35% above the $224.31 in force until today. In this way, since the beginning of the year, cane bioethanol has accumulated an increase of 140%, while corn bioethanol rose 134%.
On the other hand, in the Rresolution 923/2023Energía set the acquisition price of the biodiesel. Thus, the corresponding value for biofuel derived from soybean oil increases 20% compared to the $434,006 that had been established since last August 23.
In this case, biodiesel accumulates an annual increase less than that of bioethanol, 106%.
