The inflation October slowed to 8.3% and in the first ten months of the year accumulated a 120% increase in prices, as reported this Monday by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC). Meanwhile, in the year-on-year comparison, the increase reached 142.7%.

For its part, the segment with the highest incidence in all regions was Food and non-alcoholic beverages (+7.7%), despite the fact that it was one of the divisions that saw the most moderate increase compared to the previous month (6.6 percentage points). While, recreation and culture (+9.8) decelerated 5.3 pp and restaurants and hotels (+8.8)which mitigated its increase by 4.4 pp

Within the food products those that rose the most advanced above 20%. They were led by the lettucewhich almost quintupled inflation, shooting up 40.7%, followed by White rice (+35.6%), the stew noodles (+32.1%), the round tomato (+24.5%) and the lemon (+23.8%).

Meanwhile, the only one that lowered its price was the dadwhich fell 1.9%, although the price per kilo of this tuber is above $600 in the AMBA.
