This marked a further milestone in the implementation of the strategic growth plan, it said in a press release on Wednesday. The purchase price was not announced for the time being. MFE has around 2,200 employees. Doka, which currently has almost 7,000 employees, is active in over 60 countries with more than 170 locations.
With the takeover, Doka is strengthening its position in Southeast Asia and the Pacific region, the most important growth market for the Lower Austrian company alongside North America. MFE Formwork Technology is the market leader for monolithic aluminum formwork. The two companies would together form a new major player in the Asia-Pacific region, it was emphasized.
“I am very pleased that MFE is now part of Doka and therefore the international Umdasch Group. We have had a successful sales partnership for many years. Now we have taken this to a new level,” says Doka boss Robert Hauser.
