The MDax of medium-sized stocks rose by 0.3 percent to 26,702 points in early trading midweek. The EuroStoxx 50, the leading index for the Euroregion, advanced by 0.4 percent.

New business climate data from the Ifo Institute should not disrupt the recovery in the morning. In any case, the experts at Landesbank Helaba see a good chance of further signs of economic recovery, after the preliminary purchasing manager indices in both the manufacturing and service industries had already increased the day before. Since there was no further escalation in the Middle East following Iran’s recent attack on Israel, investors have also taken courage again.

Meanwhile, Deutsche Börse shares did not initially benefit from the initially praised business figures from the previous evening. The Eschborn shares lost more than one percent.
