Stock exchange in Frankfurt: DAX continues to rise

On another hot reporting season day, the leading index rose by 0.32 percent to 18,233.99 points towards the end of the first hour of trading. It stood out positively from the MDax, which fell by 0.35 percent to 26,475.30 points. Meanwhile, on the European stage, the EuroStoxx rose by 0.4 percent.

With its gains, the Dax reached its highest level in four weeks. There were investors willing to buy at Infineon and Zalando, who took the lead in the Dax despite mixed figures. Overall, the reporting season had both bright and dark sides, as shown by significant share price losses at Siemens Healthineers, for example. Significant price losses at Jungheinrich, Fresenius Medical Care and Teamviewer had a negative impact on the MDax.
