The measure comes after the Ministry of Infrastructure was abolished in February and its functions were transferred to the Ministry of Economy.
Through Resolution 396/2024 of the Ministry of Economypublished this Wednesday in the Official Gazette, which is signed by Luis Andres Caputothe temporary assignment of functions to Oscar Octavio Dávila in the position of General Director of Administration, also on a temporary basis, within the Treasury Palace.
According to the official text, Dávila leaves the position of Director of Trust Funds in the former Secretariat of Administrative Management of the Ministry of Public Works to assume the new role in the Ministry of Economy. “The Ministry of Infrastructure was created in December 2023 and assumed the responsibilities of the Ministry of Public Works, including the assignment of Dávila,” the regulation states.
And he adds that, in February 2024, the Ministry of Infrastructure was abolished and its functions passed to the Ministry of Economy. Likewise, he maintains that this assignment extends “until the position is filled definitively, with a maximum period of three years“.
The expenses associated with this measure will be allocated to the budget items of the entities of origin.

- The transitional assignment is protected by the Collective Sectoral Labor Agreement of the Personnel of the National Public Employment System (SINEP) and by relevant decrees.
