The mood is changing: only 45 percent of employees in Germany are satisfied with their lives and are optimistic about the future – significantly less than in the previous year. Stress levels also remain high. This is shown by the new Gallup report “State of the Global Workplace 2024”. For the study, the consulting firm and opinion research institute conducted interviews in 145 countries between April 2023 and March 2024. More than 128,000 employees were surveyed on topics such as the labor market, emotional employee loyalty, stress, anger and the assessment of their lives.
