By means of Decree 657/2024, President Javier Milei accepts the resignation of a Central Bank (BCRA) official and appoints another in his place on a “temporary” basis, according to the official text.
So, Alexander Daniel Lewa graduate in Economics, submits his resignation from the position of director of the Central Bank. The Decree recalls that he was appointed to that position by Decree No. 20/23. “The resignation is accepted” so it is necessary to fill the vacancy that remains.
Fill the vacancy
- The term of the vacant position expired on September 23, 2028. Therefore, the Executive Branch appoints in a ““provisional” to Baltasar Felipe Romero Krause from July 1, 2024.
