The IDB launched a call for proposals within the framework of “Support for the development of public investments for the reactivation of the agri-food sector in Argentina” to analyze and support public investments in nine provinces: La Rioja, Catamarca, Córdoba, Misiones, Tucumán, Neuquén, Chubut, Río Negro and Chaco.
The objective of the initiative is to contribute to the development of an Agrobioindustrial Strategic Plan 2022-2035, which provides an in-depth and prospective analysis of the sector, based on updated information.
The IIEP Agricultural Economics Group presented itself leading a consortium made up of the IIEP itself (Roberto Bisang, Jimena Vicentin Masaro, Silvina Carlés Campos and Santiago Félici), the CEO Group and a group of prominent specialists in the field (Nelson Illescas, Pablo Elverdin).
The local team in Neuquén includes researchers from the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the National University of Comahue (FAEA – UNComa): Dr. Sergio Jorge Bramardi and Lic. Ana Karina Haique, with the support of the vice dean Patricia Morales.
The Chubut team is made up of researchers from the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco (FCE-UNPSJB): Mgter. Julio Ibáñez (dean), Mgter. Sebastian Albertoli and Lic. Lucas D. Atucha.
