Artur Fischer was always driven by the need to hold things together: pictures and walls, broken bones, facades and panels. Fischer invented the plastic expansion anchor, hundreds of other connecting elements and solutions for everyday problems. He registered his last patent in 2014, at the proud age of 94, for a non-slip egg cup. However, the great inventor had no solution for another problem, much bigger than eggs slipping when cracked: the argument with his daughter. Artur Fischer was unable to keep his family together.
