The customers of the provider Danhaus wanted a prefabricated house, quickly and easily. Instead of realizing their dream, they are now caught in a grueling dispute.
For many, owning their own home is the fulfillment of a dream. But for the Sandrini family, there is much more to it: the hope that after years of numerous everyday hurdles in their lives are finally over. Their house is a spacious, white plastered building on the outskirts of Hockenheim in the Rhein-Neckar district. The windows are large, the rooms are bright. The kitchen-living room is in elegant anthracite, and the floor is oak parquet. And most importantly, daughter Ciara’s wheelchair fits through everywhere. All paths are level, and the rooms are separated by sliding doors. Even the washing machine is higher up so that it can be filled from a wheelchair.
