An excerpt from a theoretical overview of the digitizers’ subject matter.

POSE – Programming and Software Engineering
This subject is the focus of computer science at our school. You will learn everything about modern programming from the basics to the development of large systems such as online shops, booking systems, etc. We use the most common platforms on the market: .NET and Jakarta EE.
NSCS – Network Systems & Cyber Security
In this subject, we will deal with the construction and management of networks. You will learn what such networks consist of (cables, routers, switches, WiFi, etc.), but also how large networks and cloud services are set up. This also includes understanding how we can protect our system from hacker attacks.
WMC – Web programming and mobile computing
From Facebook to Amazon, all large sites on the Internet are developed using so-called web technologies. In this subject, you will learn how such large systems are developed. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, ViewJS, Angular, these are all technologies that we need for this. We probably don’t need to explain in detail what programs on mobile phones can do, but we might need to explain how such software is developed for Android and the like. We’ll do that in this subject too.
DSAI – Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
How can programs recognize faces in pictures, how does voice recognition work on mobile phones, how can robots complete tasks without human intervention, how do characters in computer games become so intelligent, how does ChatGPT make people intelligent? The answer: they learn from past data. Here you will learn how to develop systems with artificial intelligence, what forms it comes in and which form is best used to solve a specific problem.
SYP – System Planning and Project Development
Every computer program is created as part of a project, and these projects can be very large. How do you work together in a software project, and what do you have to do to avoid complete chaos when 100 people are working on a piece of software at the same time? That’s exactly what we’ll look at in this subject. You’ll also learn how to plan and operate computer systems for large companies (so-called ICT systems).
