Wide, stone stairs with curved railings lead up to the top of the Berlin Regional Court. One hour before the start of the trial, on a sunny July day, a court employee drags six post boxes up to the courtroom. They are crammed full of documents, documents and records from a ten-year inheritance dispute in one of the richest business families in the country.
