Provision 178/2024 extends missing patents
It is worth remembering that in July, 40,077 motorcycle vehicles were registered compared to 42,892 automobiles, which generated concerns in the Argentine Chamber of Motorcycle Dealers (CADECOM).
This organization reported that the patent data was inaccurate, since the registries were not processing the registrations of motorcycles new ones due to lack of supplies.
According to official sources, around 2,300 motorcycles were expected per day by the end of the month, but only 800 were patented.

The statement also noted that the Mint is the only supplier of inputs, distributed by ACARA. The lack of supplies is impacting the entire motorcycle value chain, especially dealers, who must explain the situation to their customers without being able to offer solutions or know when the problem will be resolved.
