Netflix confirmed the release date of the series “One Hundred Years of Solitude”the fiction is based on the novel of the same name by the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The series, which will have two parts of eight episodes, It will have its first delivery on December 11, 2024.

The two directors who will direct the first season are Alex Garcia Lopez and Laura Mora. García López directed series such as The Witcher and earlier in his career he was director of the series Utopiawinner of an International Emmy in 2014 for best drama series; and Mora is the director of Killing Jesus and The Kings of the Worlda film that has been selected to represent Colombia at the 2023 Academy Awards, and series such as green border and The robbery of the century.
