Produced by Sony Pictures Television arrives Goosebumps: The Disappearancethe new season of the exciting anthology series from Disney Branded Television, which will premiere with its eight episodes on Friday, January 10, 2025 on Disney+.

What “Goosebumps: The Disappearance” is about

Goosebumps: The Disappearance begins with Devin and Cece, twins adjusting to life with their recently divorced father, Anthony. When the duo discover that a great threat is looming, they soon realize that there are dark secrets between them, triggering events that reveal a deep mystery. As they venture into the unknown, Devin, Cece and their friends – Alex, CJ and Frankie – become entangled in the chilling story of four teenagers who mysteriously disappeared in 1994.

In addition to Schwimmer, the series stars Ana Ortiz Like Jen, Jayden Bartels Like Cece, Sam McCarthy Like Devin, Elijah M Cooper like CJ, Galilee The Sage Like Frankie, Francesca Noel like Alex and Stony Blyden Like Trey.

Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman worked on the development of Goosebumps: The Disappearance along with showrunner Hilary Winston. The three served as executive producers along with Neal H. Moritz, Iole Lucchese and Caitlin Friedman of Scholastic Entertainment, Pavun Shetty, Conor Welch, Erin O’Malley, Karl Frankenfield and James Eagan.

Published by Scholastic, Goosebumps by RL Stine is one of the best-selling book series of all time. The new season uses elements from some of the most popular books, such as Don’t Go Down to the Basement, The Haunted Car, Monster’s Blood, The Girl and the Monster, Frightening Visit, Camp Panic, among others.
