More than 1,000 companies and brands offer discounts of 50% and 18 interest-free installments

Starting this Monday, November 4, the CyberMondaythe event where more than 1,000 companies and brands promote their products for three days. In a low consumption context, Brands assure that e-commerce is the channel that shows the best figures. However, they redouble their efforts with marked discounts and promotions.

The event is organized by the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CACE). The new edition of promotions, discounts and interest-free installments will be on November 4, 5 and 6. The benefits will be available on the official CyberMonday website.

As specified by the organizing entity, this year more than 1,000 companies are participating, of which 285 are based in different provinces of the country with a record of participation of brands in the regions of Centro, Cuyo and Litoral. In addition, there are 11 purchase categories and more than 17,500 MegaOffers.

Typically, brands usually sell in three days what they sell in a month. Likewise, this year the context marks particularities due to the drop in consumption, so companies see a great opportunity.

From the e-commerce platform, entrepreneurs have higher expectations regarding the evolution of consumption between the first semester and the current one.

Therefore, they understand CyberMonday like a opportunity to reinforce financing tools for consumers with more interest-free installments, added to discounts and offers.

For the 2024 edition of Cyber ​​Monday, the CACE incorporated into its platform a virtual assistant developed with artificial intelligence called Cybot, which aims answer online questions from users about the event and recommend brands and products.

Among the available items are electro and techno, travel, furniture, home and deco; clothing and footwear, sports and fitness, babies and children, health and beauty, supermarkets and wineries, services and motorcycles and cars.

The institutional director of CACE Gustavo Sambucetti He stated: “We have high expectations. The first indicator that we are seeing is the number of brands that participate. This year there is significant growth in relation to CyberMonday 2023. There are more than 1,000 brands. Then, the number of visits we are already having on the website, which is between 25 and 30% higher than last year at this same time.”

Likewise, it is worth noting that during the event there will be key days and times when users will be able to access additional discounts:

  • BOMB MEGA OFFERS: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • BOMB NIGHT: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. With a minimum of one 20% discount.
  • MEGA OFFERS: They are there all day long. This is a special space contracted by brands that, through the use of filters, allows you to find the most “clicked” and “misplaced” products (out-of-season or in-season products with interesting discounts), or those that enjoy promotions such as free shipping, installments and interest-free installments.

Interest-free installments and 50% discounts: companies’ strategy to increase sales

“We will maintain banking promotions and virtual wallets. We will also have special offers on our own brand products and special coupons for DIA club members,” said Yanina Tomassini, e-commerce director of the entity. at an event organized for journalists.

According to the supermarket representative, the expectation “is very good.” Although the offline channel “decreases”, the dynamics in the online channel show another trend.

Even so, it projects a growth in units compared to the second half of 2023. “We did not grow above inflation in the first half, but we did notice a mix in the purchase of products,” said the representative of the entity.

According to a CACE study, during the first half of the year, online commerce recorded a turnover of $8,555,918 millionwhich marked an increase of 248% compared to the first half of 2023.

In any case, the figure meant 102.7 million purchase orders, only a 1% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

Finally, the representatives of Arredo and Free marketChristian Finkelstein and Alejandro Lembo coincided in campaigns for their respective brands, with discounts of up to 40%plans up 18 interest-free installments and proposals of “fast shipping”.

However, from within the CACE they also explain that e-commerce must still continue to grow in its representation within global trade, since currently occupies between 5% and 6%.
