San Isidro plans to eliminate and simplify more than 400 taxes in the 2025 tax ordinance

“This is one more step in a process that we started from day one, which had a clear example in October, when we eliminate the road tax that was charged in the fuel load, and that will continue until the end of our mandate,” added the mayor.

Regarding this aspect, he stressed that the measure could be put into practice since they have been “working hard on the decrease in public spendingtaking care of the handle, using the resources efficientlywith transparent and competitive tenders that lower costs”.

The most notable changes of the new San Isidro tax project:

  1. The elimination of the authorization fee for new businesses and industries, to promote work, initiative and private investment.

  3. The exemption from paying license fees for motorcycles of up to 150 cm3, such as those used as a work tool by app deliveries, food houses or delivery people.
  4. The reduction of the period during which the municipal automobile license fee is paid, dropping from 20 to 10 years.

In the case of simplifications, the creation of a simplified regime for the payment of theSafety and Hygiene Inspection Fee“for medium and small taxpayers, “which is simpler and less bureaucratic than the current one”, simplifying the procedure for some 6,000 businesses“, according to the municipality.

The rights of use of public space who had to pay for newsstands, flower stalls or restaurants, who previously had to pay for each table, chair, bench, seat with or without an umbrella, etc., and now they will only pay for unit either square meters.

What benefits will be added to the project
