In his presentation, the president began by thanking the CPAC organization, which he highlighted as ”essential to bring together those of us who defend the ideas of freedom”. Likewise, he took the opportunity to once again congratulate Trump and his vice president-elect JD Vance: ”It is a great joy for me to know that, in the United States, common sense and reason prevailed over communist delirium the agenda woke up and central planning. I say that it is a joy because – as an Argentine – I know first-hand the consequences of socialism.”
”Approximately 100 years ago, Argentina took a turn of the helm, which marked the beginning of a slippery slope, whose outcome – today – is visible to the entire world. Under the mandate of sentimentalism and good intentions, the collectivists managed to turn into indisputable truth, the so-called social justice, which states that: “where there is a need, a right is born” he explained.

Then, he made a parallel with Trump: ”I am not a politician nor do I aspire to be. Just like President Trump, I had to step into this rotten swamp as an act of self-defense and people voted for me and he continues to do it daily, because – finally – he understood that he no longer wants to have anything to do with caste politics.”
”The world is facing a change of era,” Milei said.
”The United States leading in the north; Argentina in the south; Italy in old Europe and Israel, the sentinel on the border, of the Middle East,” he commented, explaining that ”only with the strength and cooperation of free nations there can be a global hope for peace and prosperity.”
Under that line, he expanded on the ”cause of the West”which he cited as belonging to ”the Athenian philosophers, who rode with Alexander the Great, to Egypt and Asia, which the Romans consolidated, into the first multicontinental empire; which was reborn from the barbarian invasions, in the abbeys and courts of Charlemagne; who resisted the Arabs and reconquered Spain; who crossed the ocean and colonized America.
”The same cause that made us citizens and freed us from the yoke of the tyrant. The cause that was discovered by the scientific method, that industrialized the planet and that – with free enterprise capitalism – lifted billions of human beings out of misery. That is the historical line that we come to restore” he added.
Closing, he assured: ”The world is facing a change of era. I think that – at this point – there are few who deny it. We, Argentines, want to fly at the forefront of these winds of change. That’s why we move forward at the speed we do, even though they treat us like crazy. I like the nickname. Because we have the vocation to continue advancing until we become the freest country in the world. And because we have the human, material and spiritual conditions to take off as a nation. We are a people with an enviable inventive capacity, capable of overcoming any cataclysm. It is our duty to echo what the times demand and carry the torch of freedom, to put the world back on the path of freedom and prosperity.”
And finally, he made reference to the next CPAC event, which will be held in the country: ”We must lift the baton and revive the Promethean fire, which was bequeathed to us, in order to to once again make a land of opportunities for all citizens of the world, who are looking for it. We must become – again – a beacon of the world, because the world has been plunged into deep darkness and cries out to be illuminated. If you don’t believe me, I invite you to come see it – first-hand – next December 4, at the CPAC, in Buenos Aires, as well as I extend my invitation to the president-elect, the vice president-elect, Elon Musk, and all the who want to come join us. I want all the leaders of the free world to witness the great feat that the Argentine people are carrying out. It will be an honor for me to have the presence of all of you at the next conference, to be held in Buenos Aires.”
