The vice president Victoria Villarruel celebrated the first anniversary of the electoral victory of the formula that he integrated together with the president Javier Mileiwhom she thanked for having “chosen” her to face the race towards the Casa Rosada.
“A year ago, Argentines placed their hopes by choosing with their vote the Milei-Villarruel formula to govern Argentina until 2027,” Villarruel expressed in his X account.
And he continued: “With Milei since July 2021 we fought like David against Goliath in what was a feat of effort and change of paradigms that put us in the highest position that two citizens can reach.”
“Today I want to thank the President for having chosen me as his running mate and the Argentines for deciding to end the disgrace of Kirchnerism. Thank you Argentines for trusting us!” he concluded.
The libertarian Milei-Villarruel formula defeated Peronism on November 19, 2023, which had former Economy Minister Sergio Massa as presidential candidate and Agustín Rossi from Santa Fe as vice president.
