According to the entity that promotes women in mining in the country, WIM Argentina was represented by its current president, Maria Eugenia Sampalionewhile for IRAM he signed his title Claudio Terresaccompanied by Gaston Olibanocommercial manager of the Institution.
The purpose of this agreement is to work together to promote and develop complementary, cooperation and reciprocal assistance activities of institutional, academic, scientific, technological, social, cultural and service nature; thus enhancing and strengthening the socio-economic impact on the Mining Industry.

“We join IRAM to accompany and facilitate the certification processes of mining companies and suppliers to the Industry,” said Sampalione, adding: “The role of the WIM team in this case will be to train and guide companies in this process so that they certify standards together with the IRAM team, especially Standard 57001:2023 Management System for Equity of gender, whose objective is to promote and strengthen gender equality through the reduction of gaps and the prevention and eradication of gender-based violence.
Furthermore, the owner of WIM Argentinawhich will be replaced by Amalia Sáenz, from Lake Resources, for the period 2025-2026, he assured that “certification means recognition and validation of the quality work carried out by each company, continuous improvement, the most equitable division of tasks and better competitiveness in the market”
After the signing, WIM highlighted that “We continue working together in the development of the Argentine Mining Industry through the insertion and permanence of women in the workforce.”
