The Universal Child Allowance it’s a financial support to families in vulnerable situations. Managed by the National Social Security Administration (ANSES)and this benefit is aimed at those households whose income does not exceed the minimum, vital and mobile wage, and who do not have a registered job or who are unemployed.
The AUH establishes a monthly payment for each child under 18 years of age, with a higher amount for children with disabilities, with no age limit. However, the total benefit is not delivered directly: 80% is deposited monthly, while the remaining 20% accumulates and is paid once a year, after presenting the Universal Allocation Book. This procedure can be submitted until January 31.

Amount of the AUH in December
For the month of December, those who collect the AUH from ANSES will also be able to access the 2.69% increase which is directed by the INDEEC IPC of the Mobility Law. The Universal Child Allowance with the new increase was $74,622.96.
The rest of the allocations remain at this amount:
- Universal Allowance for a Child with a Disability: $242,993.04
- Pregnancy Allowance: $74,622.96
Extras to charge
AUH holders can access the accumulated 20% of all months just by presenting the AUH Booklet. The following steps must be taken to receive the money:
- Download the Booklet form from the My Anses section, with the Social Security Code.
- Print it or pick it up at the Anses office closest to your home.
- Take it to the health center and school to have it completed and signed.
- Present it in full along with the DNI of the holder and family group.
