When asked by a fan during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live what he thought about that possibility, Fiennes responded: “Cillian is a fantastic actor. It’s a wonderful suggestion. I would be totally in favor of Cillian. Yeah”.
Fiennes first played Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 2005, the fourth installment of the film saga.
