A middle class family group from the City of Buenos Aires required a budget in November of $2,003,735 to cover all your monthly expenses. The resources are allocated to prepaid medicine, ABL, Cable TV and Internet and private schools, the items that increased the most in the basket.
This is clear from a price report carried out by the Consumer Education Services and Advice Center (CESyAC), on the expenses and purchasing power of the middle class segments. Of the total monthly amount, $1,419,693.77 (71%) are to contract basic services for the home, while $584,041.69 (29%) are to purchase mass consumption products.
Which items increased the most in November
November inflation was around 1.99% for the middle class while the interannual price variation was 163.57%.
The most relevant increases in the category of mass consumption products were meat (3.22%) and beverages (1.58%). Within basic services, what increased the most were prepaid medicine (5.15%), ABL (4.8%), Expenses (4.5%), Private schools (4.4%), TV and Internet by Cable (4%) and mobile telephony (3.6%).
The report includes, among several items, the rental of housing, the expenses of a 10-year-old car, the prepaid medicine subscription, the fee for a private school for two children and the family subscription to a club.
It is with these elements surveyed that the data emerges that a family needed $66,791.18 per day in November to meet monthly expenses; $19,468.06 are to purchase mass consumption products and $47,323.12 are to hire basic home services.
