Markets will operate on a limited basis this week due to Christmas. In addition, important data are expected from INDEC and the Central Bank.
With the focus on elimination of the COUNTRY tax Starting this Monday, the markets will operate in a limited manner due to the Christmas holidays, which fall in the middle of the week. However, important economic data from both INDEC and the Central Bank are anticipated, among which the report on the Foreign Exchange Market corresponding to the month of November.
On Tuesday, many international markets, including those in the US, will end trading earlier than usual, and on Wednesday there will be no market activity due to the Christmas celebration. Also, on Friday, Brazil will publish its inflation index amid the strong devaluation of its currencywhich could generate repercussions in global markets.

How the Argentine stock market will operate during Christmas
BYMA, Argentine Stock Exchanges and Markets, reported that During the day of December 24 there will be agreements on operations until 3:00 p.m.with the exception of the so-called Immediate Cash, Caution and currency futures and there being no settlement activity.
It is a day of solidarity work. The proceeds raised by BYMA during said day for market rights will be donated in their entirety to a charitable cause. The purpose of BYMA is to collaborate during this special date with those who need it most.
- Those operations arranged previously and whose expiration occurs on December 24, will be included in the settlement processes of December 26, with the application of extensions in guarantees.
- Agents who make referrals of operations arranged on December 23 in T+1, the Custodian Banks that confirm them, must accept them until 6:00 p.m. on December 23.
For its part, on Tuesday, December 31 there will be no trading or settlement activities on BYMA.
