Crime and suspense stories are always a good companion to a movie night, and in Max There are plenty of movies of this style. An example of these is Nightingale (or originally called Nightingale), released in 2014, is one of the most profound and impactful films on the streaming service.
The film was directed by Elliott Lester and its only protagonist is David Oyelowowho carries the film on his shoulder and delivers one of his best performances to date.

War veteran Peter Snowden murders his mother to have the house alone and be able to receive an old friend from the army. However, that is not shown in the movie, but rather seen how the protagonist loses his mind only in his home while waiting for his friend to arrive.
It is a desperate attempt to communicate with someone else. Nightingale invites you to observe what happens in Peter’s mind and how the murder of his mother affected him psychologically.
