How the INDEC breeding basket is measured
INDEC obtains these values from an exhaustive evaluation that includes both the monthly expenditure to acquire the goods and services necessary for child development and the cost of care, calculated from the time required for this activity. That is, it measures food, clothing, housing, transportation and care.
The indicator serves as a reference for judicial processes of separation of couples for the calculation of the alimony fee paid by mothers and fathers in litigation processes.
