The fastening specialist Sikla wants to enlarge: The company moves from Marchtrenk to Wels. The construction of the new company headquarters for Austria and Eastern Europe was officially started on Tuesday in the Unterleithen industrial area. A logistics center, an office and administration building made of wood and a company kindergarten are to be built by the end of 2026. Sikla takes 30 million euros in hand.

The company was founded in Baden-Württemberg in 1967, and the group is represented at 24 locations worldwide. In 2024, a total of 250 million euros were implemented with around 850 employees. Sikla Austria is the second largest company in the group with 78 employees and sales of 28 million euros. The fastening specialist works in technical building equipment and industrial plant construction.
