The Metallurgical Workers Union (UOM) reached a new joint agreement for the period November 2024-March 2025with a salary increase of 12.3% For all workers in the sector Metalworking. The adjustment will be applied in a staggered manner in five sections, with retroactive and cumulative increases.
In addition, the union led by Abel Furlán and the business chambers agreed a review clause for March 15, 2025, in which they will evaluate the evolution of inflation and the need for possible additional adjustments.
Schemented Increases Scheme
The agreed salary increase will be distributed as follows:
In comparison, the previous parity agreement, closed in August 2024, established an increase of 14% in four months, with 4% adjustments in July, 4% in August, 3% in September and 3% in October.
New Global Reference Income
The UOM and Adimra, Camima and Caiama business chambers defined the new values of the minimum global reference income for metallurgical workers, which will govern as follows:

- $ 783,211 since December 1, 2024.
- $ 797,309 Since January 1, 2025.
- $ 809,268 Since February 1, 2025.
- $ 817,361 Since March 1, 2025.
