Tchibo is now also selling weekend houses – with or without construction for less than 50,000 euros. But if you read the description exactly, you will discover several possible problems.
Everyone in Germany should have noticed that Tchibo is no longer just making its turnover. However, the coffee company is now encountering completely new spheres. On Tchibo.de you can now find: The “Weka weekend house with 2 floors, 66 m2 living space, 70 mm wall thickness” are available in two variants – with and without construction service. The house for self -building costs 44. 999.99 euros, which, with the establishment of 49,999 euros – plus shipping costs.
Sounds like a bargain. But apart from the fact that the potential buyers need a property on which the house can be built: the devil is in detail. In the description of the house there are several pitfalls that drive up the costs.
Possible problems of Tchibo’s houses:
- The windows are not lockable. This means that burglary protection is not particularly good.
- According to the description, the windows consist of frosted glass, which means exactly that means.
- Information on whether the windows are glazed at one, two or triple or triple are also missing. But this is crucial for energy consumption.
- A precise description of the front door and the patio door is missing, so that burglary protection is also unclear here.
- A heating for the house is not included.
- The buyer must ensure a proper foundation himself.
- A roof covering is also not included, but can also be ordered from WEKA.
- The buyer must also find out whether a building permit is necessary for the house.
- The forwarding agency is delivered to the curb – but not on islands, in play streets or dead ends.
- The roof load is only a maximum of 0.85 KN per square meter – even for solar panels, this can be too little.
From the supposedly low price, bargain hunters should not be blinded. For everything the buyer has to take care of, several thousand euros can come together.
