Fuel prices fall significantly and reach the annual low
The ADAC speaks of an overdue decline. In the every week’s report of the traffic club it was the greatest minus since autumn 2023.
Fueling has become significantly cheaper. Both super gasoline of the E10 variety and diesel have given in more than 4 cents per liter within a week. That was the strongest minus since autumn 2023 in the every week of the ADAC. Both varieties are now at the lowest level of the year.
E10 cost 1.686 euros per liter in the nationwide daily average of Tuesday. That was 4.9 cents less than a week earlier. Diesel gave up 4.2 cents to 1.624 euros per liter.
The decline was “overdue”, it said from the ADAC, because the oil price was recently falling and the euro was again stronger compared to the dollar. Both are factors that generally press fuel prices in Germany.
