In the customs dispute with the USA, many countries hope for a solution. Now a first agreement should be announced, according to Washington. Supposedly it is about a European country.
US President Donald Trump has announced a “important” trade agreement with a “large and highly respected country”. For this purpose there will be a press conference on Thursday morning (local time), he announced via his online language tube Truth Social. Great Britain just the beginning?
For the United States, it would be the first agreement with an important trading partner since Trump’s far -reaching imposition of punitive tariffs in early April. According to reports, the possible agreement with the United States should not be in the way of a possible approach of the British to the EU.
