Robert Kardashian’s daughter Kim Kardashian paid tribute to the late entrepreneur on his birthday with an emotional Instagram post.
Kim Kardashian (42) remembered her father, lawyer and entrepreneur Robert Kardashian (1944-2003) this Wednesday (February 22). “Happy Birthday Dad – it’s almost like I’ve had to remember you for longer than I’ve known you,” she captioned a series of old family photos and videos.
It’s been 20 years since “we celebrated your birthday here on earth,” explains the 42-year-old. “I had the best dad in the whole wide world and I’m lucky to have had 22 years with you.” Robert Kardashian died of cancer in 2003 at the age of 59.

There is so much she would want to say and show her father, Kardashian continues. “I wish you would meet all these little people, you would love them so much! I can close my eyes and hear your voice and remember the funniest little things about you that make me so happy. I never let that go . I just miss and need you very much. Please come to me in a dream soon. I love you so much.”
Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner (67), married lawyer and entrepreneur Robert Kardashian in 1978. With him she had four children in 13 years of marriage: Kourtney (43), Kim, Khloé (38) and Rob (35). After the divorce, the mother of four married Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner (73). With him she has Kendall (27) and Kylie (25).
Kris Jenner also posted a touching family video on her late ex-husband’s birthday. Kourtney posted a photo with her dad on an Instagram Story, and brother Rob shared with his sisters and Robert Kardashian, writing, “Happy Birthday.”
