Friends and family said goodbye to Tim Lobinger (1972-2023) in Munich this Wednesday. The former pole vaulter lost his battle with cancer on February 16. Around 200 guests attended the funeral service at the Munich forest cemetery, including Lobinger’s ex-wife Alina and their son, . Among others, Bayern star Joshua Kimmich (28), who stayed at Lobinger’s side until the end, as well as sports director Hasan Salihamidžić (46), Leroy Sané (27) and Mario Gomez (37) paid their last respects to the deceased ex-athlete.
Memories and Colorful Balloons
